The Wisconsin Badger Softball program ended the 2019 Regular and Big 10 Conference Championship Games with a 40-12 overall record and a (15-8) Big 10 conference record. In the Big 10 tournament they Beat Iowa-(7-4) and Ohio State-(10-1) before losing to Michigan (8-3) in the Big 10 SemiFinals. They come into Norman with road record of (13-6) overall.
The Best win of 2019 was the Against one of Oklahoma's major rival of (9)Texas. They upset the Horns as part of the Sun Devil Classic in Tempe. The final score of this matchup was (3-1)-(Wisconsin).
Pitchers To Watch
(8)Kaitlyn Menz ended 2019 with a 18-8 overall record. Her ERA was at 2.18. She also had 96 strikeouts to go with 65 walked batters. The strikeouts is (2nd) on the team while the walks are (1st) on the team.
(14)Haley Hestekin has a 17-4 overall record. Now she does have a 2.59 ERA on the season. She is however (1st) on the team with 86 strikeouts. She does however still have 79 walked batters (1st) on the team.
Offense players to watch
(15) Kayla Konwent is has the best batting average on the team at .477. She is however 1st on the team with (15) Homers this season. That does not include being first also in RBIs with (53).
