Congrats to the Golden Retrievers UMBC-(University Maryland Baltimore County. They won the American East Conference Championship. For their accomplishment they are one of the (4) teams invited to the Norman Regional from Friday-Sunday this weekend.
The Retrievers ended the Regular (30-22) season and a (7-11) conference season in 2019. They did however sweep through the American East Conference Championship in 2019.
The Head Coach or Skipper of the Retrievers is Chris Kuhlmeyer. He is a 1999 Graduate from LSU. He was introduced as the HBC at UMBC in 2018.

Pitching for UNBC Sooner fans need to be aware of (7) Courtney Coopersmith. Coopersmith is a True Freshman Pitcher. When on the dish Coopersmith has 229.1 Innings pitched to go with (342) Strikeouts/(83) walks/ and an ERA of 1.62.
Offense
(19)Anna Lonchar is a Red Shirt Freshman who participated in all 56 games in 2019. Her offensive numbers are as follows. In 2019 she has (37) Hits/(25)RBIs/ and (6) long bomb homeruns. She is not only a pretty good offensive player but she was also the top Field Defender in the 2019 campaign.
