The Sooners lost their first game of their season to UCLA to begin the season. The revenge factor was on Oklahoma's side until Today and Yesterday. The Bruins did this and won the 2019 WCWS series. Here is a recap.
Game (1)
(16-3)-(UCLA)
The Bruins got the first run of the game in the top of the 1st with (1) run (1-0)-(UCLA). The Sooners Scooner tied the game with (1) run of their own (1-1). UCLA answered back the (2) runs in the top of the 3rd (3-1)-(UCLA). Top of the fourth here comes UCLA again (1) more run (4-1). Bruin magic was not done scoring (1) more in the top of the 5th (5-1)-5th(UCLA). In the top of the 5th the Bruins were not done scoring (6) runs (11-1)-(UCLA). Oklahoma was not done yet scoring (1) more run in the bottom of the 5th (11-2)-(UCLA). UCLA answered back again with another HUGE inning scoring (5) runs-(16-2). Oklahoma scored the final run of the game in the bottom of the 7th (1) run (16-3).
Game (2)
(5-4)-(UCLA)
UCLA jumped out in front again in the bottom of the 1st with (2) run (2-0)-(UCLA). It took the Sooner a while but in the top of the 3rd the Sooners answered with (1) run (2-1)-(UCLA). UCLA and the Bruins added (1) run to match (3-1)-(UCLA). Top of the 4th Oklahoma scored (2) runs in the inning (3-3)-(Tie). Bottom of the 5th the Bruins took the lead back (1) run (4-3)-(UCLA). Things cooled off on both sides till the Sooners scored (1) run to even the game (4-4)-(Tie). Bottom of the seventh the Bruins matched with (1) run of their own (5-4)-(UCLA).
With that UCLA won the National Title. Congrats to the Bruins and hopefully we will see y'all in UCLA for the Football game later this year.
