With both home teams winning on opening day in OKC. Bedlam round (4) took place in ASA HOF stadium. The Sooners and Cowgirls have never met as WCWS opponents till last night. Here is a recap of how the Sooners got another bedlam win and automatically qualified to Sunday WCWS Semi Finals.
(6-1)-(Oklahoma)
The Sooners jumped off to another early lead and proved their dominance with (3) runs in the top of the first (3-0)-(Oklahoma). The Aggies game right back to answer in the bottom of the first with (1) of their own (3-1)-(Oklahoma). OKState and Oklahoma then proved why there were both first and second respectively in Big 12 with the Game headed into a stalemate/pitching duel/. That is until the top of the 6th when the Sooners put up (3) more runs (6-1)-(Oklahoma).
Up Next for
Coming up next will be the second game on Sunday afternoon at around 2:00/2:30 PM. It will 30 minutes after the UCLA Semi Finals. The opponent s also is up in the air it will either be Arizona/Alabama/Florida.
There is a chance the Cowgirls get one more chance at the Crimson and cream. It will however be in the WCWS finals-(National Championship Series).
