Wait I know what your saying. That's not surprising. We always beat Kansas in Softball. Thats is true but just in case you missed it here's a quick recap of the sweep of the Jayhawks.
Game (1)
(10-0)-(Sooners)
The Oklahoma Sooners did everything right with Arizona State transfer Gisselle Juarez only gave up (1) single hit all game. When it came to the offense they runs were up to the challenge till the top of the 4th. The Sooners then scored (5) runs in the top of the 4th (5-0)-(Sooners). The Sooners then crossed the plate (1) more time (6-0)-(Sooners). The Sooners finished the run rule with (4) more runs in the Top of the 6th (10-0). The game was then called because of the run rule.
Game (2)
(5-0)-(Sooners)
Same sport same story for Kansas allowing only (1) hit. This time however the pitcher was Mariah Lopez. It however did not take as long for her to get some offense to go with her pitching this time. In the Top of the 1st the Sooners crossed the plate for (1) run (1-0)-(Sooners). Kansas then put the runs on hold until the top of the 4th inning. In that formerly mentioned 4th the Sooners scored (2) more runs (3-0)-(Sooners). The final runs were scored in the 7th inning with (2) more runs (5-0)-(Sooners)
Game (3)
(8-0)-(Sooners)
Sooners again jumped off to the early start with (3) runs in the top of the 1st (3-0)-(Sooner). The game was then kept scoreless till the top of the 5th. In the top of the 5th the Sooners added some insurance with (1) run (4-0)-(Sooners). The Sooners were not done yet either adding (4) more runs in the top of the 6th making the score (8-0)-(Sooners). This was the 2nd run rule in the series.
Coming up next for the Crimson and Cream their OUt of State rival Texas in Austin in a (3) game series. But However with Easter being on Sunday the three game series will be as followed.
