-To keep the Big 12 Championship and NCAA baseball Regional streak alive Texas had to win series (2/3) with the Sooners and hope Kansas sweeps K-State. However instead of Texas winning (2/3) and the Series it was their Rival Oklahoma. This means Big 12 Championships in OKC will NOT consist of Texas. Here is how it happened.
Game (1)-(4-2)-(Oklahoma)
Sooners scoring in baseball version of the Red River Rivalry got started right away. In the Top of the 1st the Sooners put (1) run on the board (1-0)-(Oklahoma). Top of the 2nd the Sooner added (1) more (2-0)-(Oklahoma). The Sooners and the Horns then went all even and square. That is until the top of the 6th when the Sooners put an extra (2) runs on the board (4-0)-(Oklahoma). The Longhorns did not go scoreless they scored (2) runs in the Bottom of the 6th (4-2)-(Oklahoma).
Game (2)-(13-0)-)(7 inning RunRule)-(Oklahoma)
After losing (Game 1) Texas had to win this game to keep their Big 12 and NCAA Regional invites alive. That didnt happen in fact Oklahoma got right to work scoring (1) run in the top of the 1st (1-0)-(Oklahoma). The Sooners scored (2) more runs in the top of the 2nd (3-0)-(Oklahoma). The Sooners then added another (2) run inning in the top of the 3rd (5-0)-(Oklahoma). In the top of the 4th inning the Sooner matched the inning scoring (4) runs (9-0)-(Oklahoma). In the top of the 5th (1) run was scored the the Run Rule came a possibility (10-0)-(Oklahoma). In the top of the 7th the inning of the run rule Oklahoma added (3) more runs just in case they needed them (13-0)-(Oklahoma).
Game (3)-(6-4)-(Texas)
Texas wins a game as part of the Double Header after (Game 2). Just unlike the other two games Texas got up early and did not give up the lead. It all started in the bottom of the 1st with (2) run (2-0)-(Texas). Texas would add to their lead in the bottom of the 2nd with (1) run (3-0)-(Texas). In the bottom of the 3rd the Horns would have their 3rd (2) run inning (5-0)-(Texas). Oklahoma would try and make a game of it scoring (2) runs of their own(5-2)-(Texas). Texas were not done scoring yet scoring (1) final run in the bottom of the 4th (6-2)-(Texas). Top of the 7th the Sooner rally started scoring (1) run (6-3)-(Texas). Top of the 9th the Sooners scored their final run of the 2019 Regular season with (1) run (6-4)-(Texas).
