The Oklahoma Sooneers return to the WCWS again. This time with a (54-3) overall record and a perfect(18-0) Big XII Conference record. The Sooners were (15-2) in neutral site games in 2019. With OKC being so close to Stillwater and Norman and since both teams are on this side of the bracket I will include this also. The Sooners are (18-1) in Home Games in 2019.The Sooners finished as the regular season Champs in the Big 12. They did however did not qualify for the Big 12 Championship finals because of weather delay issues.
Just another perfect regular season for OU Softball. Their best win was when they beat rival OKState (3-0) in a (3) game series in Twice in Stillwater and once in Norman. To get back it official and get back to the WCWS Sooners Defending NowthWestern Wildcats in Norman in (2) Games. This helped the Sooners get back to OKC again for the 4th time in 4 years. They will play Bamma in the opening round on Thursday night at about 8:30 PM.
Pitching
The pitcher on the OU Staff with the lowest ERA might surprise you.()Mariah Lopez has a 1.00 ERA in 2019. She is also (1st) on the team in StrikeOUts and Walks. She surrendered just (16)Walks and (229) StrikeOUts in 2019. She also has the team low in Homer runs allowed at (3).
Batting
Now for the Offense this shouldn't come as a surprise as the pitching did. Sr ()Sydney Romero has a (.435) batting average in (57) games for the Sooners. Romero has only stuck out (8) times to go with (12)walks. At the plate she leads Oklahoma with (19)homers and (83) RBIs in 2019.

They will play in the PrimeTime 8:30 game with fellow Softball Power Alabama. The game will be on ESPN and will be 30 minutes following the OSU/UF Softball match.
