Its 2019 Oklahoma have RuffRider uniforms that I'm in favor of. Should OU football have another alternate Black uniform. I think this would be a pretty neat idea for many reasons.
The Black uniform would help us on the recruiting trail. Younger Millennials needs more than just a National title won 19 years ago. I mean to some it may mean more but for the most part you aren't gonna get a ton of 4/5 star recruits without accommodating to them.
Now for us fans just like the Ruff Rider uniforms it does not have to be every game. You can wear the black alternates for ONE game. for Example next year Oklahoma will play Houston or West Virginia in Norman.
OU Hoops tired some Anthracite-(Black) uniforms and in my opinion it does look that Bad. In fact I kinda wish for one of the FEW home Games left for Oklahoma Sooner MBB would wear those in a home game against either WVU/Kansas. They are slick looking yes but they did not leave OUt a shade of crimson.
So for recruiting, for just one game a season, and if they uniforms look slick I would love this idea. Give me the black Jersey for one game give me yalls thoughts.
