Everything for the OU Spring Game went off without a hitch. From a Lee Brice performance in a concert for pregame. The offense was amazing as you will expect from a Lincoln Riley offense. Alex Grinch is new and saw some promise from the Defense also.
It might not have been a "Parking lot party" as it was an On The Field party on Owen field. The Former Clemson Tiger walkon Football player did an outstanding job with the concert.
As part of the Offense is concerned well Lincoln's scored (49) points last fight in Norman. the (49) points came from everywhere. They came from the (WR/TE) Lee (TD) Morris for 50 yard YAC from (15)Tanner Mordecai. They also allowed Kennedy Brooks to score on the Ground. The most impressive one im my opinion was a (1)Jalen Hurts selfie by himself into to the EndZone.
Defense with Grinch needs improvement but they did make big plays Friday Night. The Sooners did get a pick (6) even though the Sooners didn't get the TD. You can understand they wanna see what (15)Tanner Mordecai and (1) Jalen Hurts got. This is because they are the only (2) schoroship QBS on campus so far in 2019. Spencer Rattler will however be in town in the fall.
That will do it for the 2019 spring game. The next time we see OUr beloved Sooners will be Labor Day weekend Saturday when they play Houston week one of the 2019 season.
