Normally on Saturday nights Im watching SuperGirl on the CW. That won't be the case tonight. This is because the (9)Oklahoma is still alive in March Madness and at the same time they will be playing (1)Virginia.
The (9)Sooners and (1) Cavs have (2) common opponents from the (2018-2019) season. We will start the review in the Bahammas. More specificallry the Battle for Atlantis where they both played Wisconsin. The Sooners were on the Badgers side of the bracket so they played the game. This would end up being the Sooners first loss this season (78-58)-(Badngers). Wisconsin took that momentum to the Battle4Atlantis title game where they plaed Virginia. Wisconin gave Virginia a battle but in the end the Badgers fell just short (53-46)-(Virginia).
The Second and Final common opponent is officially an ACC. This means that (1)Virginia met the team twice while the (9)Sooners only met them once. Now for the team in question Notre Dame the Fighting Irish. We will start with Oklahoma. They played Notre Dame in the CoachesVSCancer Classic in Madison Square Garden in NYC. It was a tight game coming down the wire but the Sooenrs end up with the upper hand (85-80)-(Sooners). Virginia also played Notre Dame since both teams are in the ACC. Round (1) was in South Bend Indiana where Virginia ran away with it (82-55)-(Virginia). When they met again the Irish weren't gonna be pushed around again. The game in Charlottesvile was a lot more tight. But the important thing is UVA won the game-(60-54)-(Cavs).
The (9)Sooners and (1) Cavs will tipoff tonight at 6:45 on TruTV.
