The Sooners and the Cowboys are set to pay in College Baseball in Bricktown Saturday Night. A good way to prep would be if we got a third Bedlam softball game. That is exactly what would have happened if the rain didn't come in on Friday Night when the Sooners were handling the Jayhawks of Kansas. Here is a recap of the Championship games that were played over the weekend in OKC for Sooner softball.

(4)Texas Tech/(1)Oklahoma-(8-0)-(Run Rule)-(Oklahoma)

The Sooners jumped on top of the Raiders pretty early and never let the Raiders in the Game. It took a til the Bottom of the 2nd for the Sooners to get their first (2) runs (2-0)-(Oklahoma). They were not done yet in the bottom of the exact next inning the 3rd the Sooners dropped (3) more runners home-(5-0)-(Oklahoma). The Run Rule didn't come into effect till the Sooners added (3) more runs in the Bottom of the 6th (8-0)-(Oklahoma).

(6)Kansas/(1)Oklahoma-(5-0)-(Oklahoma)

The Sooners got right to work against the Jayhawks in the top of the 1st the Sooners scored (1) run (1-0)-(Sooners). The Sooners next (4) runs came in the Top of the 2nd (5-0)-(Oklahoma). The Game between the Jayhawks and Sooners was then Rained the Championship was Canceled because of Weather conditions.

The Sooners now await who will come to the OU Home complex for the regionals. If the Sooners win the regionals I would think they will host a Super Regional. If they win the Super Regionals they will head back to ASA HOF stadium for the NCAA Softball D1 World Series.
