(52) days left till the Sooners and Houston kick off 2019. Its time to celebrate with my favorite players to wear (52)Don Kindley played in Norman from (1963-1966) offense and (52)Charles Bowman also played in Norman(1955-1957).
(52)Charles Bowman played in Norman from(1955-1957). Bowman helped Wilkinson and the Soonerse to (3) Consecutive Big 7 Titles. During Tubbs time in Norman his record was (30-1) this of course came during the (40) game winning streak at Oklahoma which is still an NCAA record to this day. Something to remember is that in those days you there weren't as many Bowls as there are now. Notre Dame was the one loss that came in 1957.
(52)Don Kindley played in Norman from (1963-1966). During his ride in Norman the Sooners did not win a single Conference Title or National title.(23-17-1) was the Sooner record while in Norman. Now in his defense remember Gomer Jones came in to coach the Sooner after the Bud Wilkinson moved on from Sooner Nation.
