(48) days left till the Sooners and Houston kick off 2019. Its time to celebrate with my favorite players to wear (48)Aaron Ripkowski played in Norman from (2011-2014) on offense and Defense (48)Sedric Jones(1996-1999).
(48)Aaron Ripkowski played in Norman from (2011-2014). Rip might be as flashy as some of Bob other FB but he's one of my favorites. Rip and company tied with K-State for the 2012 Big 12 title. This was Rips only Big 12 title while in Norman.They did however get an out large Big to the BCS and upset Alabama in 2013. The Sooner record in the Ripkowski era was (39-13). Once his stint in Norman was done he was drafted in the 6th round by the Green Bay Packers.
(48)Sedric Jones played for the Sooners from (1996-1999). This is obviously different from Cedric Jones. Sedrc with an S did not win any Big 12 Championships. He did however help them to a their first bowl win in a 5 years.Sedric Jones's s record in Norman was (19-25).After getting back to a bowl in 99 the Sooners got back to THE BOWL in 2000 to upset Florida State in Miami for the Orange Bowl National Championship.
