(16) days left till the Sooners and Houston kick off 2019. Its time to celebrate with my favorite players to wear (16) Eddie Crowder played in Norman from (1950-1952) and (16)Lewis Baker also played for the Sooners from (2004-2007).
(16) Eddie Crowder played in Norman from (1950-1952).(26-4-1) was Crowder's OU Football record at the end of his career. His record also ended with just (3) Big 7 titles. The NY Giants selected (2nd round and 22 overall pick) after his Sooner Career in the 1953 NFL Draft. Even though he was drafted by the Giants he spent his post Oklahoma career with the Edmonton Eskimos-(Canadian Football League).
(16)Lewis Baker also played for the Sooners from (2004-2007). (42-11) was the overall record while Baker played in Norman.The wins includes (3)Big 12 Titles. After his days in Norman the San Francisco 49ers allowed Lewis to sign on to their Practice Squad. He did end up playing for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Las Vegas Locomotives both of the UFL.
