(14)Josh Heupel also played for the Sooners from (1999-2000). (20-5) was the overall record while Heupel played in Norman.The wins includes (1)Big 7 Titles.The (20) wins also includes an Orange Bowl and BCS National Championship. After his days in Norman Miami Dolphins drafted Heupel in the (6th round and the 177th overall pick). He never made to past the Practice Squad in South Beach. He later also signed a practice Squad deal with the Green Bay Packers.
(14) Sam Bradford also played in Norman from (2007-2009).(24-7) was Thatcher's OU Football record at the end of his career. His record also ended with just (2) Big 12 titles. After the (2nd) Big 12 title the Sooners also appeared in the BCS National title Games. His accolades also include the (5th) Heisman winner in Sooner Football History. After returning the Sooners to Bradford was taken in the (1st Round and 1st overall Pick) by the St Louis Rams. After the Rams he also stayed in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles/Minnesota Vikings/and the Arizona Cardinals.
