His record also ended with (2) Big 12 titles along with the (2) consecutive Back-To-Back CFP appearances. He was also awarded (7th) overall Heisman Trophy Winner. Murray left Early for the NFL Draft in (2018).After his Football days in Norman Arizona Cardinals selected Kyler in (1st Round) as the (1st Overall Pick).
Also (1)JC Watts played in Norman from (1978-1980). (42-6) was the overall record while Strait played in Norman.The wins includes (4)Big 8 titles.Its a shame with such an impressive record and Conference record its a shame the Sooners did not play for any National titles. After his time in Norman Watts continued his career in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the Ottawa Rough Riders and the Toronto Argonauts.
