During the 2019 NFL Draft the Bengals of Cincinnati from the NFL took a chance on a Running back that only had (1) (1000) season. He is however a warrior and has the heart of a Sooner. The player in question (24) Rodney Anderson

Rodney had a great Sr year at Katy High School in Texas in 2014. In 2015 he was offered a plethora of CFP/BCS/D1 Scholarships. Those teams included Auburn/Baylor/Houston/Michigan State/Oklahoma/Texas A&M. At the end of the day Rodney chose Oklahoma.

In 2015 then Coach Bob Stoops let Anderson play as a true Freshman on Special Teams. He made it through the 1st game against Akron Zips. Then in the Second game of the season in Knoxville Tennessee Anderson had a devastating Knee injury on a Kickoff return.

Remarkably in the 2016 Spring game just (7) months later Hot Rod returned a kickoff for a TouchDown and excited the crowd. But before the season started he suffered a neck injury in the final practice in spring ball.

In 2017 Oklahoma made their first of (2) straight CFP appearances. Not only did Oklahoma return to Dominance and the National scene. Also Rodney finally had the kind of season he was hoping for as a player on the field also. He rushed for (1161) yards rushing while also Rushing for (13) TouchDowns. His (13th) and Final TD of 2017 came in the CFP 2018 Rose Bowl against the Georgia BullDawgs.

2018 Rodney was hoping have a repeat of 2017 instead of 2016/2017. However that would not happen in the second game of the Sooners season against UCLA Rodney was injured again. Rodney didn't let the injury derail his dream rehabbing and then entered the NFL Draft.

Rodney was then selected in the (6th Round) in the NFL draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.
