The Bama Oklahoma matchup will be the final game of the first day. That's the one everyone wants to see. But if you get tickets to that you also get to see the Florida Gators and the OKState Cowboys. Here is the preview of Florida Gators part of the Bracket.
The Gators enter the WCWS with a (46-16) overall record and an even (12-12) SEC Conference record. The Gators were (15-2) in neutral site games in 2019. With OKC being so close to Stillwater and Norman and since both teams are on this side of the bracket I will include this also. The Gators are (11-15) in road trips in 2019. The Gators then swept through the Conference Championship weekend including holding off Bamma-(2-1) and raised the SEC Postseason Championship.
As part of the Judi Garman Classic the Gators had just enough scoring to upset Washington (1-0) in the preseason. When Tennessee/UF renewed their rivalry in Conference play the Vols won the series (2-1). But then when it mattered in the Super Regionals in Gainesville UF won the series against Tennessee (2-1). This helped the Gators get back to OKC again for the 3rd straight year. They will play OK-State in the opening round on Thursday night at 6:00 PM.

(18)Amanda Lorenz comes into the WCWS with a Gators leading Batting average of (.419). She had done this in 179 batting attempts. She only has struckout (16) times and walked (62) times. She has number (1) on the team in walks. She has also has had the least number of strikeouts in 2019. She is however 2nd on the team with (11) Home Runs and also 2nd on the team with (41) RBIs.
