Now we turn the page to the Defense. we will start up from with the whole D-Line. Its looking life the Sooners are gonna be running a 3-4 defense
Starting on the Edge with the Defense Ends of 2019. the returning starters for Oklahoma (72)Amani Bledsoe/(93)Tyreece Lott/(7)Ronnie Perkins and (95)Isaiah Thomas. Of the Natural Ends at Oklahoma Perkins made (7) mas as a true Freshman.However the Verteran as the End Rusher for the Sooners is (72)Amani Bledsoe who started al (14) Games.
The Nose Guard of a 3-4 the middle of the line is of major importance. Oklahoma has (3) players returning playing significant rolls there. Those players are (90)Neville Gallimore/(55)Kenneth Mann/ & (91)Dillon Faamatau. Gallimore and MAnn both played and started (13) games last season for Oklahoma. Dillion played in (14) games last season including (3) starts.
Running a 3-4 the Sooners also have OLB in as extra blitzing Defensive Ends.(31)Jalen Redmond/(42)Mark Jackson Jr/(41)K'Jakre Daley are the OLB/DE. Of this crew only Jackson Jr made (7) starts this past season playing in (10) Games. Jalan Redmond also did his part to help the Sooners after finding out he had a Blood Clot issue. Redman saw action in (3) games with (0) starts.
The Sooners also welcome two new Sooners into the fold one a JUCO player and one a True Freshman. The JUCO is (96) LaRon Stokes he comes from the Sooners from (NEO)-(Northeastern Oklahoma State). (29)Jonathan Perkins will also be joining the team as and DE/OLB rush end.
