The Corner Back is HUGE for Big XII teams. This in no question because of the spread offense that is run through the offense. Tech/Baylor/OKState/Texas are just a few. Plus everyone wants to beat Oklahoma.
The CornerBack position is two returners. (13)Trey Norwood and (44)Brendon (Bookie) Radley Hiles. (13)Norwood returns after starting all (14) of (14) games in 2018. He also made the last (5) starts for the Sooners in (2017). So in (2017 & 2018) he started the last (19) of (19) games for Oklahoma. (44)Bookie also returns to the Sooners after starting (11) of the (13) games in (2018)
As for as True Freshman coming in Jaden Davis from Fort Lauderdale. Davis comes in as a 4 Star. Also Woodi Washington is also a Freshman coming in from Murfreesboro Tennessee. Washington also comes to Oklahoma as a 4 Star. Because they are True Freshman however and did not come in early they do not yet have their Okahoma Jersey Numbers.
Not only that but also The Sooners have a New Corners coach Also The Sooners. The coach being mentioned is Coach Roy Manning. This s Coach Manning 3rd stop as an assistant. His other (4) stops (1)Cincinnati-(2012)/(2)Michigan-(2013-2014)/(3)Washington State-(2015-2017) and finally (4)UCLA last year-(2018).
