The Thunder and the Trailblazers have played some close games over the past few months in the NBA. So when you see the final score of (120-108) it sounds like just a regular (10) point Win. But it was not Portland was NEVER really in the game even to start.
I mean everything was working to the Home Court advantage on this Emotional evening in the Peake. So much so it even leaked into the Stands for not (1) but (2) half court shots during (2) different time outs. Derek Williams (Midwest City Oklahoma) and Norman out of (Prague Oklahoma) each left the peake 20,000 richer. As far as fans are concerned there were even a couple of guys that dont need 20,000 dollars in attendance. Former Oklahoma Sooner turned NFL Star Gerald McCoy was in attendance. As was Oklahoma Sooner Freshman Phenom and now Rookie of the Year Candidate Trae Young in attendance.
So with the fans in attendance and an emotional night even Terry Stotts got fed up with the officiating earning a Tech Foul. If the Stotts name sounds familiar to all you Long time Oklahoma Sooner fans it should. He played for Dave Bliss and the Sooners from (1976-1980).
This Game pulled the series still in favor of the TrailBlazers but only by a (2-1) count. The Thunder will have their chance to pull the series even at (2-2) tomorrow night at 8:30 PM from inside the Chesapeake.
